- Carolyn grew up singing show tunes and the songs of the 1920s in Roselle and Scotch Plains, New Jersey, a member of a rollicking and exuberant extended family.

Carolyn attended six schools growing up and especially loved Victor Mravlag School 21 in Elizabeth and Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School. After obtaining a B.A. in Theater and Media from Kean University, she escaped the suburbs and moved to New York City, where she has lived ever since and adores it!
